We always have to add this restaurant on any trips to Austin or San Antonio. The atmosphere of this place is one-of-a-kind. And the food is wonderful!

The service b Ashley was awesome. The size & quality of the chicken fried steak was a joke. Some friends tried talking us into going to Gruene River Grill. Wish we would’ve. Buddy & Donna
The food was ok. We went on a Thursday at lunch and we had no wait. Sat out looking the river which was great. I ordered the catfish plate and received 1 that’s right 1 filet! The portions were disappointing but our service was good.
