Love this place! My husband proposed to me here. The employees were awesome to help him. Oh, & the food is great too!

One of the prettiest settings in Texas, this old grist mill turned restaurant sits above the Guadalupe River under sprawling Texas Oaks in Gruene, Texas just north of San Antonio. Grilled chicken, fried catfish, burgers round out the menu. Gruene Hall next door features live music weekends and makes a great post dinner stop.
One of my all time favorite places to eat!
