I was very impressed by doctor Grischkan at what an amazing job he did on my double hernia. I had my operation on Thursday and was back to work by Tuesday. I actually could've went back to work sooner . Great doctor and staff . Don B
Excellent doctor with excellent results. I have already recommended him to my own patients. If you want your hernia fixed the right way, the first and only time, he is the doctor of choice. I missed 1 day of seeing my own patients and was back to normal life in a very short time. Don't settle for good when you can have excellent when it comes to your health.
I had my Umbelical hernia for about a year and a half, before deciding to get it repaired. Went to see Dr. Grischkan, and he got me in for surgery the following week. The surgery was quick and painless. A week later I went on a 1500 mile motorcycle trip. I would highly recommend Dr. Grischkan.
Live your life. That's what I am doing after having both the left & right sides done (not at the same time). Dr. Grischkan is excellent.

I am outraged by Mr. DiPietro’s posting below. As a prior patient, I have found Dr. Grischkan to be honest, caring and trustworthy. Since when does a patient blame the doctor for a cancer arising 15 years after hernia surgery in a totally different site. Interestingly, Dr. Grischkan also shared a letter with me from Mr. DiPietro's lawyer requesting help to sue the original hernia surgeon, which the doctor declined. Shame on you Mr. DiPietro for being so vengeful.
As a former patient now with a new hernia, I needed clarification of the suspect allegations posted by John DiPietro. Dr. Grischkan shared a letter from Mr. DiPietro 6 months after surgery stating.. you were kind, understanding and caring.. your ethics and morals renewed my faith in medicine. Another document from Mr. DiPietro's attorney to Dr. Grischkan requesting help suing the first surgeon was turned down. The obvious explanation! So who is the liar?
Dr. Griscken is a liar and a horrible human being. If you are told he can fix a bad hernia surgery, don't walk run. He ruined my life. He tried to hide the gangrene and disfunction he caused in my life. It led to stage four testicular cancer. I lost my jobs, my Family, and any chance at a normal life. He would take no responsibility. He would make we wait months to follow up. Then, the night before my appointments, his office manager would call and say, "sorry he's in Europe". More lies!
I had a large inguinal hernia for many years. If I had known how easy the surgery and recovery would be I never would have waited so long. Dr. Grischkan and is staff at The Hernia Center Of Ohio put me at ease right away. After the initial consultation with Dr. Grischkan my surgery was scheduled for the following week. The surgery was performed on time and every one at the surgery center couldn’t have been nicer. I had very little pain and was back to work a week later.
