My first visit to this outstanding restaurant was with my grand parents in 1965. The history of this restaurant now runs three generations deep and the commitment to fine food and world class service continues to make Grinnell's one of Rochester's very best places to eat.
My husband took me there for our 10 year anniversary. This was my first time there. I have to say it was a pleasurable experience, our waiter was excellent and the food was spectacular. My husband ordered the sea bass and loved it. He always orders salmon but wanted to try something different, he wasn't disappointed. I had the broiled scallops, which were superb, they literally melted in my mouth! Thank you for a memorable anniversary dinner!
Service was nice & both had filet for dinner. It was really good.
We have been frequenting Grinnells for 32 years (including our rehearsal dinner 28 years ago), and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal there! Consistency is huge for a restaurant, and they have mastered it. The food, drinks, and service are all top notch. It is a family-owned restaurant, and the owners take great care and pride in making sure all their guests are completely satisfied and happy. Grinnells is, and has always been, our go-to restaurant!
The service was good and Veal French was fantastic!
Grinnells is our favorite restaurant in the Rochester area, you can't beat the food.. We've never been disappointed. The service is excellent! They have a very diverse menu as well. I highly recommend it!!
