Grillo donated all the sand I needed as well as a free delivery to my Eagle Scout Project. I am a scout who just completed my Eagle Scout project of building an athletic jumping pit to serve the Amity School District. I contacted Grillo Services in April of 2024 to inquire about having my inground pool removed. I was told by the woman who answered the phone that she would have the person who does that call me. Shortly after that call, I was contacted by Sean Grillo who came out to my home to give me an estimate. A few days later, we entered into a contract to have the pool removed. Prompt and on time with the dumpster drop off and pick up!
We were driving on I95 and one of the dump trucks had gravel falling out. Of course it cracked our windshield. We called the company and they basically said everyone has glass insurance nowadays. Great guys. They hung up and must’ve called the driver as we watched him pull over to close the tailgate. They should be thanking us for the amount of other claims we probably saved them. Judging by the other poor reviews, customer service isn’t a priority for this company.
The Grillo worker was unfriendly and rude when answering questions on a call. I’m not sure what I asked that caused the person such annoyance, but there are plenty of other organic garden and landscape suppliers around.
