Sunday, 9/10/17, at approx. 6:20 p.m. The Grillestone Restaurant. I had passed this establishment many times on Rt 22 in Scotch Plains, and since the place we were originally going to dine at was remodeling, we decided to try here. Sorry to say, not a very good experience. Server did mention that he was ‘new’, but there were just some things that I wouldn’t expect even from a new hire. I ordered a medium well cheeseburger. The food comes, I take two bites and the waitress comes over and tells me I got the wrong burger. She did ask if I wanted a new one but I've already started eating so I said no. She walks away, I take another bite and realize it's cooked medium rare. When she comes back I tell her that it's not cooked the way I would eat it. She says "yeah, that is the other waiters fault." I ordered wings they were not cooked inside red . Drink we're ok , service was ok . It was our first time there . One appetizer 3 drinks one beer , one steak dinner one chicken dinner bill was $90
