RecommendedReally happy that Grille 29's second location will be here in Birmingham. Enjoyed a great meal in Huntsville last year, and can't wait to try out the rest of their menu when they open a mile from my house!
I came based on a recommendation from the front desk staff at my hotel (Homewood Suites, very close by). I was very impressed with both the service and the quality of the meal. The only caveat is that, like most restaurants which serve premium meals, this is a high priced operation. It is, however, fairly priced and a good value. The staff is extremely hospitable (well, to be fair, Huntsville seems like an extremely hospitable city, in general). Grille 29 is AMAZING! The food service and atmosphere was superb! I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed. Cudo's to you, Grille 29!
I am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED in the meal my friend and I had on Saturday night. We both had the same entreé, the 8 oz sliced Butcher's tenderloin with the mushroom sauce. We both became extremely ill within a few hours. My family and I are frequent patrons of this establishment for the past eight years or more. We have celebrated Birthdays, Anniversaries, Morher's Day AND Fathers Day. Along with special date nights.
