With marble floors and columns, mahogany walls and a location inside the historic Salada Tea building, this award-winning restaurant has the look and feel of an old private club. But you do not need a membership to dine here - just a big appetite and a good budget. Appetizer choices include a nice selection of soups, salads and raw seafood. The entrée menu focuses on choice cuts of beef and grilled seafood. Jackets and ties are recommended for gentlemen. The restaurant also has a full service bar.

The Ultimate Steakhouse The Grill 23 is a fabulous steakhouse in Back Bay. It is a loud, open restaurant. Great for drinks and appetizers, even better to sit down to a fantastic meal. The steaks are exceptional and the service is just as good. It is priced in the high range, but well worth it. You will enjoy your night at this restaurant. Reservations are usually needed.
One of the best steakhouses in the city This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The food is exceptional, the waitstaff is first class, and the dining area is absolutely gorgeous. It is a relatively high end restaurant so dress appropriately and expect to pay a few bucks for dinner. You should also make reservations beforehand since this place is almost always packed. If you haven't been here yet, you need to add it to your list of places to check out because it's incredible.
Grill 23 & Bar is really good I have always loved Grill 23 and for years they have never dissapointed. The portions are huge, wine selection is fantastic and they are very attentive and friendly.
Not so great – Took my daughter and 4 of her friends for her 24th Birthday. My daughter arrived ahead of us and she was told that the reservation was for 5 people, although I had called and changed to 7 earlier in the week. They were quick to adapt and that worked out fine.Decor was festive with a Holiday feeling. When we were seated , we were placed next to a wait station. Perfect Dining Experience – I was taken to Grille 23 for my birthday and the dining experience truly made the night special. It started from the moment we sat down, our waiter was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the wine list and made a wonderful recommendation. Simply one of the best steakhouses – The steak I had was one of the best I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, it was paired with carmelized onions that complemented well with the delicious garlic mash potatos. The service was wonderful as expected. I will return!
Unsanitary food. Appearance only goes so far. – I have always been a fan of steak, being originally from the south, so of course I had to try Grill 23.
