I had been a regular for multiple years but will not be going back. The weekend bartender and general manager don't have a good concept of what customer service is. After being insulted by said bartender and trying to work out what was coined a "misunderstanding", I was told by management that they trusted their bartender's judgement. I arrived about noon. Some of my friends were already there... More showed up. How can you beat free oysters and pulled pork with other fixings with $2 beers? Had a very good time. College football games going on! My BC Eagles lost to NC State by 3. All in all....in was a good draw. Place was packed!
First time visit. Nice local or neighborhood place (parking can be a little tough). Sat at the bar waiting for friends to join me. Was greeted by Layla (?) the bartender. She welcomed me and showed me the drink specials. Friends arrived about 7pm and had a nice visit and great pub fare. Next time I am in Richmond looking for a place to meet and eat, I will remember this place.
My other half and I just started coming here because a friend told us about the place. I am so glad he did, Service and food are the bomb. loved the Cuban sliders and even had a patron who was seated in our area stop and ask what they were and remark about how heavenly they smelled. I got the smoked meats last night and my God, I think I will have lunches for the next 3 days. The barb Q was absolutely an 11 on a scale of 1-10, the brisket even after reheating is so tender. this place put chain BarbQ places to shame
Me and my wife had an awesome time. I had a burger with fresh cut fries. My wife had the French toast. The waitress was very attentive and the experience was very pleasant. We will return.
