The Griffon is an authentic, perfect dive bar less than a block from Charleston Waterfront Park. Unlike most bars in the area, it is laid back, unpretentious, and economical.
Great food. Reasonable prices. Only negative was both the proprietor and server were waiting on us and not communicating with each other.

Great food and took my wife there on our first date over 5 years ago. Went back on 6/28/17 on our 3 year anniversary with our daughter. Will continue to go back not just for the good food but the meaning behind it.

Friendly staff came in for lunch was given the daily specials which sounded great but I was ready for fish and chips and it was served up nice and hot. The cod was cooked perfectly and fries, coleslaw & tartar sauce complimented it well.
Good food, great service, nice price. Highly recommend!
What a great place, all of the employees there are fantastic.
