When fuel prices were as expensive as they've been in years they sent out a truck to fill up heating fuel in May when it was 80+ degrees outside without any notice of delivery, leaving me with a $1000 bill, My heating fuel tank had roughly 30 gallons left in it, this is the beginning of summer don't forget, which would have gone untouched till October. they would have kept filling the tank even more if i did not interrupt the truck driver while he was filling who then promptly hurried off without explanation. Absolutely terrible experience with Griffith Oil’s billing department. They cancelled our monthly payment plan without any notification, which created unnecessary confusion and stress. On top of that, they delivered oil after we explicitly requested that they not make any further deliveries. Trying to resolve anything with this company was nearly impossible because calls were not returned and communication was consistently poor. Griffith does not contact us prior to delivery. Something we have specifically asked for. They have a $50 no run out guarantee however they charge a $100 service fee to ensure nothing was wrong with our system when it happened. So the guarantee costs you $50. They then would not answer the phone or return my calls when I reached out to dispute it. They also would not respond when I left messages to no longer receive refills. I will be padlocking my tank to prevent them from filling it without my approval.
