Dr. Lofters-Jones saw my sister as a patient for her last baby and sent her home crying! My sister had placenta previa and had several questions that Dr. Jones acted as if she was too busy to answer. She was dismissive, cold, and unhelpful. What is most disheartening, is my sister was so excited to see her because she was a woman of color ( as is my sister). 19+ years later I am Still thankful for your care, compassion, expertise, insight, and most importantly my son Tamonie Alijah Jones. I remember my final appointment before we scheduled my C-section, and you were giving me the dates that you could perform the procedure and you said to me "Ms. Jones, the soonest I can perform the C-section will be 11/2, " and then you looked at me like you had doubt about the day you were getting ready to mention, then you stated "or 10/31 which is halloween."
