Had my monthly undercut refresh with Ben. Crisp, clean, and professional!
Excellent barber shop in a convenient SoDo location. The atmosphere is always comfortable, friendly and laid-back. I really like Ben the Hooligan Barber for a awesome cut at a fair price.
Changing this from 1 star to 4 stars. I went back to the shop to talk to one of the shop managers about what happened. He was genuine, apologized a ton, and took care of me with a free cut to clean it up and blend it out the best he could. Honestly, it’s not the exact haircut I originally wanted since there was only so much he could do with what was left after the sides got blown out, but I want to give an honest review, and I really respect that he stepped up to make things right. Very disappointed in my haircut from yesterday from Ben Completely uneven cut, shorter than I asked for (despite me telling him not to), did not even do the fade on one side. He was too busy distracted talking to his colleagues. Maybe he should pay attention to his client and their hair cut. He seemed to be in a rush to get out of there to go to some concert that he wouldn’t stop talking about. I have to go to another barber just to fix how uneven everything is. Haven’t experienced such carelessness like this.
Came here with my husband, who got his haircut done by Ben (Hooligan Barber) tonight. Excellent first experience. Ben was a great conversationalist with the cutting skills to match. Very impressed with his attention to detail and verification on what was wanted done. Will absolutely be returning to this location. The shop itself was cute, clean, and well maintained. Very comfortable chairs. Very friendly staff.
