We bought into Vinedo Villas (in Mira Lagos, Grand Prairie, Texas), a 55+ gated community, expecting quality craftsmanship and accountability. Instead, we've had to fight just to get basic infrastructure fixed—like the streetlights. Since day one, many of the 11 streetlights in the neighborhood never worked. As of today, only 1 functions. Despite warranty requests submitted to the builder over the past several years, the issue has never been resolved. It was a great experience…and Jessica and Tomeka were amazing! They were friendly and professional…responsive and flexible in working through all of the details! Definitely a 5-star experience!
PLEASE - Do NOT purchase a home built by Grenadier Homes. I want to share my full experience. Before Closing: The primary guy I had to work with during inspection Tony was very rude and pompous. When I hired my own inspector, as every homeowner should do, he was very dismissive to my concerns and flippant. At one point told me that he did not have to allow me to have an inspection. Retired for 2 1/2 years, my wife and I desired to unload and downsize. We decided it was time to reconsider Grenadier homes in Wylie, having seen them a number of years before. Julian and Devon were patient and friendly as we worked through the process. The contract and purchase process was easy, streamlined and professional.
