I have rented 2 properties from them about 6.5 years. The owner has been very fair and responsive with issues. The properties are well maintained and their rents are reasonable and they only raised it once in 3.5 years. Lisa, the manager has always been great to work with and really cares about the residents! I have been renting for over 20 years now and honestly, these are the best manager/management company I have had.
We just moved from a Gremar Property that we lived at for about 4 1/2 years right on the Bryn Mawr and Harrison neighborhood border. We only moved because it was in Minneapolis, and we wanted to shorten our commute to St Paul for work. It was a great experience dealing with this company, and the Property Manager Lisa was always a pleasure to work with. The same goes for the maintenance team. These people will treat you with the same consideration as a health insurance agency. Also, their "if you sign the application you also sign the lease" shtick is super slimy. They're slimy and anyone deserves better. We never rented from them officially and they attempted to keep a $1,050 security deposit. We consulted a lawyer who is STILL in the process of reclaiming it. After we threatened them with legal recourse they returned a FRACTION, citing "rerenting fees". That was not in the lease. I have lived in my apartment with Gremar for over 6 years. I always receive excellent service from the staff and my needs are always met. I would recommend Gremar Apartments to anyone looking for a new place to live!
