On Friday 9/5/25 I underwent a C5-T1 fusion with a laminectomy at C6/7. The surgery was at U Of Miami in downtown Miami. My story started with the initial exam with Dr Basel. To start he was on time and quite frankly he was early for my appointment. Dr. Basil examined me and reviewed my MRI and had me take an additional diagnostic test to verify his medical opinion. I have had two spinal surgeries w Dr Greg Basil. The first was a fusion of L4/L5 and then I just had an Endoscpopic inter laminar disc ectomy, (L5/S1) Two weeks ago. That particular surgery was outpatient and the pain was immediately rectified! I wish I had not waited so long to have the surgery! Dr Basil a wonderful and compassionate Dr, he listens to you and speaks to you as if you are his family member.
