Avoid if possible. Multiple fractures in pelvis and sacrum, Didn’t ask me anything wrote a whole report as if he checked me out and looked me over. 10 day old injury. What a joke.
Greg Witkowski Spent 30 seconds did not give discharge papers or any after care for broken toe. His nurse did not wrap toe properly. His PA would not give proper sized walking shoe that NW Glen Ellyn Convenient Care failed to fit. Very poor attention no care service. Wow avoid they could care less.
In short, at a minimum, get a second opinion. Another way said, go elsewhere. I went to him needing reconstructive surgery on my foot. He was recommended. My experience in summary: uninterested in my input or historical details about my injury; tremendously unempathetic; cold and impatient with any personal questions regarding post-op challenges; do not go near questioning his judgement or plans; when I asked about recovery he put me off saying something along the lines of "well this is complicated, and we'll have to just se... read more
Dr. Witkowski did a wonderful job repairing my previous femur surgery by another Dr. Things did not go correctly with the first surgeon that installed many screws to fix my broken femur. So, I was referred to Dr. Witkowski which he had to go back in and remove all the screws and install a titanium rod and a few screws just over 3 years ago. I just decided recently to back to see him to make sure all was healing correctly, and I got 100% approval things are great.
