I found Dr. Hoffpauir to be rude and arrogant. His chair-side manner was seriously lacking. He told me that if I wanted a lens implanted it would be an extra $1,000. Because of Dr. Hoffpauir's attitude, I chose to go to another surgeon. The new surgeon was extremely pleasant and polite. I had the surgery several days ago and he did not charge me anything extra for the lens. In fact, nothing was ever said about it being an extra cost.

Dr was nice but said when I had toric lens put in vision would be to read at arms lengh now vision is blurry in left eye and can't see phone numbers on phone .called told them about it and the girl said go to your eye dr because we don't do glasses.why did I pay him 2300.00 for toric lens .
So happy to have my cataract surgery and be able to see! Had to call in for a few things and received prompt answers.

Very disappointing.Pressure went up in right eye Dr.Gregory Houffpauir put a shunt that caused a big problem.He then had to referral me to bham which he explained an told me that be could removed shunt but instead he referred me to Dr.Owens which is in Montgomery.Dr.Owens is awesome nd has Great bedside manners.
