Dr. Bellisari is very knowledgeable and approachable. I feel he is very straightforward, and takes the time to explain your injury as well as the course of treatment. He offers multiple options, explains the pros and cons and helps patients make informed decisions. Hopefully I don't have any further injuries requiring an orthopedic doctor, but if I do, Dr. Bellisari will definitely be my first stop.
Dr. Bellisari understood my goal of returning to ice hockey and skiing even at age 46 and guided me to the best approach and surgery option for my torn ACL. I was able to schedule the surgery very soon after the initial consultation and everything went well. At first post op Dr. Bellisari described what he saw during the surgery and what to expect moving forward. I highly recommend him and the team at Orthopedic One.
I found Dr Bellisari to do a great job on my shoulder surgery. To be honest, when he shared information with me, he assumed I knew what he knew. For example, showing me the photos of the inside of my shoulder he said, "so you can see here this is a normal looking shoulder." Yes Dr. I see it, but have no idea if that is normal or not . Also, in reviewing said shoulder, he was back and forth on whether he repaired a tear or not and when i asked him , he responds, "I JUST showed you." Hands down best orthopedic doctor I’ve dealt with. Efficient but attentive.
Left knee surgery - meniscus repair
The visit was no more than 5 minutes. He gave me no opportunity to ask questions or discuss my concern. He delivered a rote statement and left the room. I felt disrespected by his lack of engagement. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Belasari has superior bed-side manners. He is very attentive to the patient's needs and concerns.
