Answered all questions, offered a wealth of info before and after surgery; great bedside manner. Staff excellent, too. Can't say enoughn positive things.
What impresses me most about Dr Tocks is his real interest in his patients. He doesn't act like he's a God. He is down to earth, compassionate, and humorous. If I tell him a joke he comes back with one. I've had both hips replaced and the results are better than perfect. I had the second one done as an outpatient and was walking without assistance within 10 days. Now a year later and there is not a bit of pain or any discomfort at all. Dr Toks was very reassuring when talking about surgery. He was very knowledgeable and very kind. He made me feel secure in my decision to have hip replacement.

Dr. Tocks was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained to me and showed me the test results. He suggested a conservative approach to my treatment, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Dr. Tocks examined me and asked a few questions, made some physical manipulation of my hip and advised me I had several issues to focus on. I’ve gone through 7 weeks of therapy as well as home exercises without results. It appears Dr. Tocks had a plan for me and I scheduled the tests and injection that the Doctor suggested. I felt confident of his diagnose and treatment plan.
Assessment of cause of pain was quick. Given 2 options for treatment. Chose conservative option of Cortisone injections in each shoulder. Procedure was efficiently carried out. Was told that if pain returned, I had to wait 3 months for another injection.
Dr Tocks was very friendly and explained my hip treatment options in an easily understood manner. I am confident I made the right decision to have hip replacement surgery. I look forward to being able to walk pain free.
