This was the fasted 'full body check' I've ever had basically with her walking around me and looking at me for five minutes and then walking out the door. She also took care of my mom and during the procedure never bothered to engage my mom in any conversation until I was in the room. Also, it's impossible to get anyone on the phone to make appointments or get medical records. I've had to drive to the office to do both. We both changed doctors.
Didn't listen to me at all. Totally condescending. It was one of my worst ever doctor experiences.
Well run practice- all staff were very good. He did a good job and made sure i had all the info I needed.
He rushed the visit, started touching me without asking for consent and then when I informed him I wouldn’t be there regularly due to a high co-pay he responded with “do you know how long I went to school? That’s what you are paying for.” Completely condescending attitude and didn’t listen to a word I had to say. Horrible bedside manner and full of himself, I would never see him or recommend him to another patient. Honestly, he should be ashamed of himself.
Lack of thoroughness in examinations. Missed diagnosing basal cell carcinoma at two visits, despite my verbal concerns that lesion was in the same area as two previous mohs surgeries for basal cell. Never used a magnifying glass, took no pictures for future comparison.
I have been seeing Dr. Higgins for at least 10 years and over that time span, she is always been very professional, yet a “friend”.She listened to my bad experience with another dermatologist, and has always told a new assistant my story..I would and have recommended her to others. To me, she is the best…
Dr. Magel and his team are fantastic.
My father received mohs surgery on top of head. Dr. Mantooth did the sutures. He required 14 sutures. In the days following he had extreme pain and felt something was wrong and possible infection. He called the practice and instead of asking him to come in to take a look at and rule out they prescribed him hydrocodone for pain! It continued to get worse. I live out of town and encouraged him to go there and have them look at. When he arrived they said doctor was not able to look at. He said he would wait until someone could ... read more
Rude receptionist. At least 2 others checked in for the same dr at the same time, patient time is important too. Waited 30 min past appointment, only to be brought to tears in the first few minutes of meeting him. No bedside manner and does not know how to talk to women. I was already fragile about my appearance and was made to feel worse. I paid a high copay to get referred to a allergist, humiliated and spoken to condescendingly. I will never return.
