He did surgery on my back and neck. I have had great results. I have recommended him to a lot of people. He explained everything to me so I could understand it. I highly recommend him.
Had little to no time to make sure surgery was done correctly. Left hospital immediately. Didn't make sure I came out of recovery. Laid in hospital for 6 days in excruciating pain with not one visit from him. Hospital told me I either had to go home or to a nursing home. I could no longer stay there. I opted for home. I had to go back for more back surgery 1 month later because he missed something. Still in extreme pain & numbness 4 month later.
My first impression of Dr. Howes was that he is extremely thorough and pulls no punches. He did my surgery and made sure I completely understood what the procedure was going to be on my neck. After surgery, he came to check on me at least three times. I was completely confident in his ability and knowledge. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I need more surgery on my back and will not hesitate to go to him again. He and his entire team are second to none!
Dr Howes operated on my back in December 2017. He removed over 30 years of severe back pain. I had not been able to lay on my back at all before the surgery. When I did lay on my back, like in a doctor’s office, I couldn’t get up by myself and then couldn’t walk right away.... I will shout it from the rooftops!!! Dr.Howes is the BEST neurosurgeon. I tell everyone who will listen how he took away my back pain.
