Dismissive. Told me to “live with it”. I will go out of my way to never let him look at me again. Needs a review from his parent company. Bedside manner is boorish.

While the conditions that arose which required his services are not something I would wish on anyone, if you happen to have an ailment which requires his skill set, Dr. Howes is your guy. Dr. Howes is very professional and kind. He is very knowledgeable and helped me so much with my spine issue. He performed my spine surgery and I could not have asked for a better outcome. I recommend him to anyone that needs a good spine surgeon.

Dr. Howes performed a laminectomy and spinal fusion. Due to a slight complication there was a small spinal fluid leak which he corrected. He NEVER ONCE spoke to me after the surgery nor see me in my room where I was for three days. During our follow up appointment I tried to explain the problems I was having during recovery and he never once looked at me or acknowledged what I said, the entire time he was reading computer notes. Finally he agreed that my recovery was unusual but said that he didn't know what to do except wai... read more
