I had2 skylights replaced, chimney tung pointing, dish removal, roof cleaning. All work except roof cleaning were well done. I texted Kevin, with pictures, of a little moss still on roof. I asked for a call back. Nothing. I called his office and asked for a return call. Nothing. I returned the invoice, with full payment and wrote on the invoice, please call me. Nothing. I got 6 estimates from different companies in the Vancouver area for our roof replacement. I've always wanted a metal roof, and of the 6 companies from whom I received estimates, Gregg was the most competitive. I got the impression from the other companies that they didn't really want to install a metal roof (it seemed that that they were not experienced enough to do metal). Gregg installed new roof in 2017, trouble free since during heavy snow and rain years. A small leak started during recent heavy rain storms. Contacted Gregg by phone and email. Office quickly returned call, dispatched an experienced field technician, arriving within two hours of call (very reasonable time frame given the workload caused by the storm). In the process of having gutter guards installed we discovered a problem with the way in which the our original roof shingles were installed (installer did not put down a starter row). I called Gregg Roofing to come and take a look. Josh came out and looked at the situation and came up with a creative solution to solve the problem that did not involve tearing off the existing shingles.
