Not Trustworthy. My experience with this accountant was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Over the course of 2 months, I was repeatedly told that my tax returns were 80% done or would be finished "by the end of the week," only to discover later that no progress had been made. I followed up respectfully every 2-3 weeks to check in, but was accused in an aggressive email written in all caps "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!" and of bothering him every 2-3 days. Greg is an amazing tax preparer. He is always there to ask questions, extremely efficient, very very organized, and always so friendly. We have really enjoyed working with Greg for so many years.
Terrible experience. UPDATE: So, I received the letter today from the IRS with penalties for not filing an extension!!! So, this guy totally lied to me about filing an extension! When I hired him, I specifically told him that the last CPA was unresponsive, and I did not want that to happen again. Greg was very responsive initially, he had my tax info months in advance and any additional info from banks, etc. weeks in advance of April 18th. Yet he not only stopped responding, he filed an extension (I hope). I have no evidence... read more
Greg is extremely experienced and professional. He is so so so organized, that you can expect to receive a a laminated binder with a clean cut copy of that years filing. He is so nice and always a phone call away if I have any tax issues. I highly recommend.
