My experience with Dr. Stroup (first time I've ever seen him) was great. I was there to see him for a specific issue, and he explained things so well, and had pictures to show me what was going on. It was a VERY good experience.
This was my first surgery with Dr. Stroup, he has an old school bedside manner to which he treats his patients. His relaxed demeanor makes you feel comfortable and eased my thoughts and concerns about my surgery. He also took the time to see if I had any questions that I might have about the procedure and post surgery. Dr Striud was thoughtful, insightful and very present!
Great doctor visit. Everyone was knowledgable, respectful and courteous.
Had surgery on an emergent basis with Dr. Stroup. He explained the condition in a way that made sense and did not make us feel 'dumb,' and explained all parts of the procedure from the anesthesia to the removal of the affected organ and recovery. His demeanor was friendly and calm and alleviated some pre-surgical stress. He was happy to answer any and all questions, and went out of his way to update family members ASAP.
Everything went well. I was able to get an appointment 2 days after going to urgent care/emergency room.
Good doctors
I saw Dr. Stroup in follow up after my bilateral surgical hernia repairs done, by him and his surgical team, ~ 2 weeks prior. He was friendly and professional and answered all of my questions. He carefully reviewed things to be on the lookout for over the next several months and reassured me I could call his office with any questions or concerns. Excellent follow up care.
