Brought a brand new Silverado in April 2025. In April 2026 at 22,000 kms, I took it in for a the second oil change and asked them to check the brakes as they were pulsating. They told me the rotors all need to be replaced as they have overheated. This is a truck that commutes back and forth, mostly just between Pemberton and Whistler. I have never towed anything or had any hard, extensive braking that should have caused the rotors to overheat. 2019 Chevy Silverado purchased new here. Failed lifters after 122,000km and six years. Complete engine replacement or ~$20k repair. Escalated to GM customer care. Back and forth for weeks only to get no assistance from either dealer or GM. Found out there is a class action lawsuit against GM for this type of failure in their l84 and related V8 engines affecting 2014-2021 models. Millions of vehicles affected. should have been a recall. If I could give zero, I would. Stay away at all cost! Do yourself a favor and choose another brand and dealer.
Words can barely describe, or express my disappointment at the lack of professionalism, poor communication skills, and frankly dodgy behavior exhibited by the staff at this store. Expectations were low for a small town, but still.. never again! Thousands wasted, but it's the time, the excuses and the sketchy behavior and attitudes. If you're not a local you're definitely better off finding a REPUTABLE shop in North Van and getting towed there! Next up is the BBB complaint!
