Scott, with Greer Overhead Door was on time to the minute. They came in priced at way less than these other companies for a garage door spring. Also these other companies tried to sell me on other parts that "should be replaced" aswell.. I asked Scott when he showed up to replace my spring, if I should change these other parts that these other companies recommend. He said they look fine and there is no need to change them unless they are broken. These other companies just try to up sell you on other parts that are not broken... read more

This was the easiest service call you will ever make. My garage door was broken but good! Called Greer Overhead Door, they get a quick description of the problem and within 10 minutes, Scott called back,. He had me send a couple of photos to confirm the problem and was at my door later in the morning. Not only fixed the door but gave good advice for future maintenance. Easy to talk to, knows his stuff. Not trying to sell you anything you don’t need. Only 5 stars because they didn’t offer 10.

They did a fabulous job of installation of the new doors and worked with our schedule. The new doors look and work great! Unfortunately, they were supposed to dispose of the old doors and hardware, but left them laying in front of the garage. I have called multiple times, and it has been a month. The old doors are still sitting in front of the garage. **** Update*** After 2 months, and a credit card dispute, they finally came and removed the old doors. Had an issue with my garage door- the chain kept getting knocked out of piece that raises and lowers the door. Called these guys, Scott came out the next day, replaced the part and gave me solid advice on how and where to lubricate the door, to make it move smoothly and last longer (it's almost 20 years old)- the repair was VERY affordable - and the advice on maintenance was free. I HIGHLY recommend Greer Overhead Door.
