The service department is not easy to work with. I brought my vehicle in for an issue that I knew the exact cause for, and they wanted to charge a “diagnostic fee” that was close to 100% of the repair cost, in addition to the repair cost. Most dealers will charge a lower diagnostic fee, or a higher one if the customer chooses to not follow through with the repair. Unfortunately we are unable to waive a diagnosis fee, as it helps pay our certified technicians for their time spent on the vehicle. This works just as it would at a Doctor, a Dentist, Plumber, Electrician etc...; you ar e charged for the examination and/or diagnostic fee. EDIT: 1 year and 2 weeks after purchase and yet another repair on this car. We put more work into this car than we’ve paid towards the balance. Would advise to read the recommendations AFTER purchase - of course they’re going to be “helpful” when they want you to buy a car. Ask other dealerships in boardman about them - they’ll tell you they’re scumbags and the worst dealership to go to in the area Purchased a used car June 30.
