This is a great hidden gem. I had the Ruben sandwich with tomato soup. Both were delicious. Our server was really nice and attentive. Nice views of the golf course. Great place to watch sports, but not too noisy.
Sat down at the bar, I was never acknowledged by the bartender. Proceeded to watch her check on three other tables and then help someone she knew by name at the other end of the bar. Still not even a "hello" or "I'll be with you in a moment", walked out 5 mins later. Terrible service unless you are a local.
I ordered a well done burger with fires to go, got it home and its blood red uncooked and disgusting. Its not rare, its uncooked on the inside. Very expensive for a burger I wouldn't feed to my dog. Super nice server though. She was great.
We called ahead to confirm that this was a public restaurant and were assured that it was. We arrived around 12:30 p.m. on a Sunday and immediately noticed that priority seemed to be given to members. Despite arriving before another guest who approached the bar after us, the server asked who was first, and when we deferred, she chose to serve him instead. It's my own personal Cheers! Shhh, don't tell anyone so I never have to fight the crowds. Joking aside, Strikers and the crew are a hidden gem. We love going there every week.
