Sixteen years ago, Catherine and Royce Simpkins launched Green Lawn by Design out of their garage. It’s not surprising that they would end up starting a business together in light of the fact that they have known each other since the third grade. They grew up together in a small rural community in northern Indiana and share similar values. Great working with Royce! He listened to all my ideas and changes throughout the process. Price was affordable. He came back when finished to make sure all was acceptable.
The guys today edging and putting in our mulch went beyond!!! Not only did they do a great job on edging and mulching, I had recently had a tree removed with exposed dirt and your team took it upon themselves to use the grass edgings to fill in my hole from the tree. No one asked or suggested they do that. They did that on their own and went beyond the call of duty. GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I just started using GreenLawn by Design this year. I am beyond pleased with their services & quality. In addition to my lawn care, they treat my yard for mosquitoes. In the few years I have lived here I have never been able to enjoy my back yard due to being literally eaten alive by them. This year I have spent almost every evening out back with my dogs & I couldn’t be more happy!
Started using GLBD in summer of 22, spent around 5k in total services. Laid top soil and seed on backyard (small yard), bury downspouts, fertilize and treat yard. The back yard took to about 70% of what was done, said would be fixed, did not get fixed. Down spouts are sloppy and crew did not know what they were doing. Company does not communicate.
