Since childhood Viesia's dream was to work in a flower shop. At her first day in school, the assignment was: "Draw whom you want to be when you grow up". Viesia drew a stick figure in a flower shop. Fast forward many years, change countries (from Poland to USA) and Viesia's dream came true. In 1992 with a degree from OSU in Horticulture and Landscape Design under her belt, she opened The Flower Garden in Corvallis. This place was so beautiful with its pumpkin patch and beautiful flower garden! Worth a visit and enjoying the time there!
Green Gable garden is a hidden(?) gem of Philomath and it has been a special place for me to visit with their happy and healthy dahlia garden to cheer me up. For years their fun pumpkins, fresh corns, huge onions and bouquets from the farm store and farmers market have fed my family and I recently learned that we can do the U-pick dahlias from the garden. If i could rate this place 100 stars. I would, but this place is amazing, family-friendly atmosphere, amazing pumpkins, and fun kid and adult corn maze! And the doughnuts are to die for!!!
GreenGable Gardens is family fun for all ages including the four legged furry kind!!!
