I am a Cigna patient. I received a letter, signed by Dr. Greene, denying physical therapy sessions and raising questions about the treatment plan agreed to by me, my orthopedist, and my therapist. I have never spoken to her or any Cigna clinician about my case. These are not the actions of an ethical healthcare provider, in my opinion: receiving compensation for denying medically-indicated treatment, while causing undue administrative burdens on providers. As posted by previous reviewer, DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PRACTICE BY BEING HER PATIENT. She denies claims without checking facts before quickly signing her letter. My local medical doctor, the one who actually saw me, recommended that I see a physical therapist for my neck to allow me to continue nursing with minimal pain. Justine Greene quickly sent a letter dated Aug 2, 2019 stating that my PT visits are not medically necessary and that the plan includes 16 office visits from July 29 to Sept 27 for neck pain when I have o... read more

This doctor signs off claim denials for American Specialty Health based on a review system whereby only immediately available documentation is used. She does not bother to contact the patient, doctor, or therapists involved to obtain updated information, instead, finds every reason to use the lack of information provided to her to deny your claim. DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PRACTICE BY BEING HER PATIENT.
