The good is delicious and we had absolutely wonderful service despite a crowded bar. The new expansion is beautifully done.
It was very good, food and service. My only hesitation is that we felt very rushed. Servers (not our waiter) were showing up with courses before we were finished with what we had and we had to send it back because there was no room on the table. We live in Europe close to the French border and we are are accustomed to an unrushed meal.
Great place for a drink or an amazing dinner. I have been there at least 25 times. They expanded the restaurant which makes it more accessible during busy weekends. No more long waits! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the metro area. Don't leave without trying one of their signature cocktails (i.e. The Lions Tail). Alex is a wonderful bartender.
I've been here three times (including once with a group of 20 where we shared everything) and every item I've ever had is delicious. My favorite is probably the steak tartare appetizer. The one that always surprises me is the bacon cheeseburger--somehow it's always better than I remember. And I've ordered the meatballs and polenta entree twice so that tells you something. Everyone we've taken here was impressed. Definitely recommended.
