Meh I guess Green MIll is ok. The atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL. However the food and service there is really hit or miss. Although they have a great menu (the pizza is always great) it's a gamble on whether or not it is going to be cooked correctly. I swear I am not a picky person at all but I would say 50% of the time, the food is overcooked or has been not fresh. Decent Food This place has great Calzones. The service was only average here. They offer great bar specials on appetizers. Prices were reasonable. Nice place to hang out.

Nice Try Bill W. Hmmm... Anyone else read the Bill W. review and laugh? This was obviously written by an employee of the restaurant itself. Green Mill is fine, but please don't post an advertisement under the guise that it is an unbiased review. Give me a break!
Twice Bitten - Scary Food The first time I went to Greenmill in AL, the pizza was so undercooked, that we could raise the dough high off of the platter. The second time I went there, I had fish - and it was excellent. The third time I went there, I had the fish again - but this time, I felt myselft chewing paper. I lifted the fish to take a closer look - it had been cooked still wrapped in paper!! The waiters and waitresses are great, but the food scares me.
Great View! This would be a great restaurant to go on a date too! The window booths look out over lake Bemidji and the restaurant is well kept with an amazing wait staff. The buffet and pizza are quality.
You have got to try it! The Green Mill Restaurant sits right on beautiful Lake Bemidji. They have really good food and I've never encountered an employee there that was rude or snippy. Green Mill is wonderful place to go to socialize with a friend over a great meal. It is big enough that you don't feel crowed and personal enough that you don't feel lost. I definitely recommend this place!
restaurant We had pizza delivered from the Green Mill. Delivery was quite slow but the snowstorm might have slowed them down. Being from the East Coast we expected the cheese on top and did not really care for a thick layer of sauce on the top of the pizza. I would not recommend them unless you like that kind of pizza.
Good Eats and Less Packed than the Other Places! My boyfriend and I wanted to eat out one day and it was Mother's Day weekend - the blackhole of waiting to be seated. We went to Applebee's and it was a half hour wait or more. We then tried The Green Mill and were amazed - no wait! The food was fantastic. A little pricier than other restaurants perhaps, but worth it. The spinach dip appetizer was the best!
