We had several companies quote on a steel roof for our home. David P. came to our home and did an excellent job explaining their product and the install process. Work was completed as scheduled. The installers did an excellent job, were very professional and kept the job site (my yard) very neat and tidy during the entire installation process. Green Metal installed my roof back in 2018 and did a pretty good job of it as I recall. Now I'm noticing that the outer coating/paint on the panels is pealing in certain places along the lower edge of the roof. It's taking a while to get this resolved but I've been told it's up to the actual fabricator of the roofing to resolve at this point and they can't get up onto the roof to get a sample until spring so I'll wait and see. It's not a major issue so I have time to wait and hopefully it will be resolved fully.
When it was evident my parents' home needed a new roof, rather than installing asphalt shingles again which didn't last and created other problems, we decided on a steel roof.
