We visit my son and his family who live in Poulsbo at least twice each year, and we always make it a must to stop by The Green Light Diner. Awesome food, super friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Oh, and their milkshakes are to die for!!!! Highly recommended!!!'
Went today with some family visiting from California, we mentioned to the waitress that their 2 year old daughter has some lactose allergies, to our surprise the cook came out and told us exactly how he prepared the food and how he was so careful that there was no crossed contamination on any ingredient so the little girl can eat all her food safely! Our waitress Cindy was awesome! Ive only been in a few times and she remembered what our drinks were from previous visits:) and i always appreciate how attentive they are to our 6 yr old. I haven't had a bad meal yet:)
I've always had great service, and quality food. The option to combine hard apple cider with ice cream for a float wins me over (:
Food and prices were great, I assume due to the Festival it took sometime to place our orders, but the Service was Excellent!
The food was excellent but beware of waiter, Daniel! After my husband & I paid our tab and left the diner, Daniel chased after us and yelled at us about our tip - 20% of the tab. The manager was very apologetic, but she needs to get that waiter out of her business before he costs her more customers. We'll never return.
These folks take the "friendly, all-american diner" to a whole new level with both their delicious, reasonably priced food and happy, efficient staff. Kudos for getting it ALL right!
I recently ate here while visiting from North Carolina. My "Hangtown Fry" was delicious and everyone else enjoyed their food, too. Overall, terrific food & terrific service!
