Best place on earth
A couple of years back I quit buy my tomatoe and pepper plants from them because I never got a Roma tomatoe or jalapeno pepper that was right. This year I gave it a try again and the same happened again. My wife told me to tell them and not just give up on them. So, I took pictures of the peppers. One long and skinny, the other round and told them All I got was a handful of excuses and then told they knew it happens and nothing could be done about. This was my first time visiting Green Acres. My husband and I just bought our first home and are so excited to start planting in our backyard. The selection at green acres is phenomenal and the quality of the plants is great. I was in awe of the selection. Also, everyone that works their was so friendly! I will be going back soon!
I bought about 6 plants this morning. As I planted each of them I was very disappointed the plants were already rootbound. This will make their chances harder to make it. I saw several very aggressive plants on their shelves too, so buyer beware and be sure you read lables and know what you're buying. When in doubt, ask or goggle the plant.
I dig Green Acres! Great stores with quality products and enlightened management.
We had such a good time yesterday and the KMC Band was amazing, you have to have them back next year. Loved watching all the kiddies having fun with the games and face painting
I love Green Acres. Aside from a fantastic selection, the staff is incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Its a bit of a drive for us, but we choose them every time we have a need.
