My husband and I ate here for the first time yesterday and I have to say that it's pretty remarkable. The gyro was made to perfection and the place was really clean. We ate our lunch on the back patio and it's quite spacious back there. The owner said they have live bands and BBQ nights when it's warm. I highly recommend this place. Wish the cost was a little less, but overall we were very satisfied.
Curly and Yevette are GREAT and the food is Delicious! Gyros are authentic and the meat is always fresh and delicious. The BBQ Brisket and Ribs are tender and juicy, I suggest Thursday early for the BBQ and Curly has a secret talent with Chili burgers ! I'm trying to get it on the menu as The Curly Burger!! #Giveitatry #eatmorelocal
Always hits the spot. Once a week the onion burger with fries.
Our first visit was a success! The humas was excellent, served with the most tender and warm pita bread. I had the Village Salad , I believe it was called, and it was excellent as well. My daughter had a gyro, and it did not disappoint. It was very tasty and large. Excellent sauce, too!! Very friendly proprietors. We will definitely be back.

Everything we've tried so far at the Taverna has been delicious. We especially like the brisket, barbecued ribs, onion burgers and pork roast. The service is exceptional also. The next time we have family from out of state coming town to visit us, we most definitely will invite our family to have dinner at The Taverna in Moore.
