The Great Land Home Health Services are not reliable. They give you a date and time they will come out and don't come or call you to let you know they aren't coming. My husband was released from hospital and someone from this agency was suppose to come and check his vitals and see how he was doing. When the nurse came they would visit for about 10m minutes and quickly leave. If you are thinking of having them provide service don't. My husband was discharged from the hospital following 3 major abdominal surgeries. He was very debilitated and required extensive care. The home health nurse (Josephine) admitted him on 12/24/20. The only contact information she provided was her personal phone number. I was told to call her with any needs. She stated she would be back a 9 am on 12/26 and would deliver wound care & ostomy supplies and a shower chair on 12/28. She never showed up, didn't respond to messages, and never ordered the needed supplies or equipment.... read more
My 93-year-old father had a Home Health nurse from Greatland for the first time ever after a hospital stay back in May 2020. Her name was Becky (Rebecca) and she was wonderful. She listened to my dad, gave him time to voice his concerns/questions, advocated for him for additional blood tests, contacted his GP to update and was overall just a lovely human being.
