One of the greats! I love this farmers market. It has so many things to offer and all handmade and homegrown! Stop by their location (battlefield & glenstone) if your ever going through or live in Springfield Missouri! You will not be disappointed. Its like a festival every time you go out there!
The seller had pre-packaged his corn in plastic bags, which handily disguised the thin scrawny condition of his produce. A well formed plump ear of corn as a sample sitting by bags to entice. Ten of the 13 ears were little more than corncobs.
The Greater Springfield Farmer's Market, playing music with Mr Albert....that's where you'll find me, this, and every Saturday morning.....cuz I love the market, and entertaining all the wonderful people, (especially the kids and their dogs...), as well as all the very hard working producers and vendors, with all their produce and other wares.The place is just a pocket of goodness in our ever growing and changing city. Nice thing to have, this market...and you can join us in the Battlefield Mall lot, 8am to noon... music fro... read more
