Everyone at Greater Lansing Veterinary Center, from the receptionist, nurses and Vets were amazing! They cared for my beloved dog for 2 1/2 days. He was brought to the Center over Memorial weekend having seizures from low blood sugar and high liver enzymes. The staff took care of him as if he was their own! Even after bringing him home they have helped me understand the highs and lows of his diabetes and offering help continually. Five stars to this center. Pamela Boysen
Drove 45 minutes to take a gamble on this place and I'm glad we did! They took wonderful care of my daughters' cat who had a urinary blockage. Michelle, who cared for our boy while he was there, and called a week later to check on him is absolutely THEE sweetest. The only small thing that slightly bothered me was that we were originally told he would be admitted for a minimum of 36 hrs, and when I was called just over 24 hrs and told he could come home, they wanted me to drop everything and come get him ASAP and I was given ... read more
Worst place I've ever decided to take an animal too. Drove over an hour and took a stray cat in that had been beaten up by another. Rather than look at it at all or help it they refused to help it unless I covered the bill. Where'd the compassion go in this world? It shouldn't always be about money. Plus the receptionist was just cold and not the type I would put behind a desk as the 1st person visitors meet.
I didn't want to have to write this, but there was no response over email for a resolution. I brought my cat in for what I thought may have been poisoning, but it turned out that he had gotten into a fight. The facility left me waiting alone in a room without an update for over 2 hours. I talked to the front desk twice, and they not only couldn't give me a time frame — they also were in the middle of a shift change and didn't bother to inform me.
