Greater Lansing Veterinary Center continues to amaze us with their thorough and compassionate treatment of our animals. On 10/10/26, we brought in our dog, Plato, who had been dealing with osteosarcomas since May of this year. That morning, he had fallen and could not stand on his own. When we tried to move him, he would yelp in pain. We scooped him up as gingerly as we could and rushed to GLVC. Good up until discharge. Brought my dog in for limping and his rear leg hurting it was a long day expected and upon discharge they leave us with a trainee who couldn’t answer any of my questions. Based off what she was saying or implying. It is wait 6 weeks with rest and that could fix it or surgery now. She couldn’t answer if he needed surgery or if letting it heal would work. Both msu and this one are the worst thing for an animal to experience i have never seen people take advantage of people emotion like this worst people ever I swear these people don’t have sympathy the way I look at veterinary has completely changed don’t trust these people with your pet do you regular check up pick a trust worthy bet so you don’t have to end up here first thing they will recommend is euthanize your pet

Worst experience, sat there for 6+hours for them to tell me they have not touched my animal and won’t until I paid them $830, my animal was taken to the back hours ago and separated from me and they did nothing to help her for hours!! All the car r about is getting money !! Will NEVER come here again!!

Horrible! Got here at 10:30pm, multiple people in front of us that weren’t here when we got here, my dog threw up and no hurry on helping. No warning off how long it would be for help or when we be able to get our dog help. Asked for a time estimate of when we would be in and they couldn’t give it to us, didn’t update when we were next to see vet. Currently getting out of this place at 4am.
