This is Ft. Blount Park not the Bartow Chamber of Commerce. Went to check the lighting for an evening event. I'm not really digging the blue/purple lights at night hope they change back to white.

SPEED TRAP CITY! While the local police are no doubt making lots of money enforcing speed limits, they are doing a disservice to the community. If you are unfortunate enough to live in Bartow, a typical ticket might cost you an entire week's wages! If you do business there, you need to have your head on a swivel to look out for heavy-handed cops. Part of a 4-lane divided hwy 60 in a non-residential area drops from 65 to 45mph for no intuitive reason, and the cops are just waiting to catch you! And, every time I drive through... read more
