If youre serious about good steak, this is the best around. Great Uncle Peters offers a wondeful meal. The quality of the food is excellent, and everything is expertly prepared, cooked, and served. The ambience is nice and simple though a little cramped, certainly not the traditional mahogany covered steakhouse. The servers are attentive and friendly - very professional. We visited Uncle Peters in early February of 2006 while they were still BYOB (great savings on our wine tab). This is not a bargain hunters restaurant, but a restaurant for those interested in the fine dining experience.The food is beyond compare for a NE PA restaurant, although the ambiance is lacking due to the congestion in the dining room.
