After hearing about this place for a few years and traveling past almost daily we decided to try it. The drinks, my date ordered a wine and I a citron, both were very poor and I doubt either was what we ordered. When the salad came out, my tomato and onion salad turned out to be two slices of tomato and a slice of onion-plain-not quite what i was expecting. My wife and I ate hear on our anniversery several years ago. It was pricy but the steak was amazing. Everything was great. I am planning to go back soon. I would put this right up there with Ruth Chris anyday.

This place is a real find - on par with the best NYC steakhouses - and Ive been to palms, lugers, old homestead... went here with 15 guys for bachelor party at end of july - had read good reviews, but Great Uncle Peters truly exceeded our expectations. Actually stunned that a place like this exists at all in a such a rural section of PA. Huge P-house cuts - lobsters - super-nice staff. Expensive and well worth it.
