Great company to work for.
As a driver at GPT/CMT the last couple of weeks have been very stressful with everything going on in our country. I would like to give a big thanks to Mike and Bob. Also, can’t forget the dispatchers and load planners for getting us where we need to be. The last 48 hrs I have been aggravated over a load I did not want to take to Washington state but due to the hard work and dedication that Susan Edie puts into getting drivers where needed; I was able to swap loads with another driver. yes very good people been here one month so far do good
They will smile at u just to get u in the door then they start micro managing. They leave no margin for error on loads and when u have to get in the shop u have no time. They will terminate u and leave u stranded. They can't give a straight answer to why they terminate u. Kevin in recruiting is a dumbass who cares more about gaming on his computer during orientation. Dispatchers are better at driving a desk then actually working.
Haven’t been with a company in a long time that was down to earth and proficient as they are I’m not planning on going anywhere else says a lot when a owner road test every driver and takes time to get to know who works for him and operates his equipment my dad always told me grass is not always greener on the other side of the pasture well this pasture is where I’m gonna be for a long time if they will have me
