My husband and I sought the help of Dr. Krause and Great Lakes Veterinary Behavior Consultants last September. I debated writing this review for a long time, but my heart breaks when I think about what could have happened had we followed the advice we were given. At the time, we were newly married and expecting our first child. Dr. Kari Krause's course of treatment made a world of difference after our in-home consultation to address our 3-year-old cat Monte's behavioral issues. She was wonderful to work with and we felt that she really cared for Scooby. We tried everything she recommended for as long as it took to help him feel calmer so he could peacefully sleep through the ni... read more

Between the medication and mitigation strategies we learned, Max is a lot happier (and we are happy he no longer pees indoors!). Max is still scared of lots of things (the car, the vet, school buses, any dog on tv), but now we understand how to make him a little more comfortable in these situations. Thank you Dr. Krause! My only regret is not ... read more
