When our dog Scooby started getting older he developed anxiety so severe he couldn't sleep through the night. He would run around the bedroom crying and barking at all hours. Our vet referred us to Dr. Krause for our 2 year old rescue. Max was acting aggressively toward certain people, growling and nipping at them, and (as an added bonus!) urinating inside. Between the medication and mitigation strategies we learned, Max is a lot happier (and we are happy he no longer pees indoors!). I found Dr. Kraus to be very helpful. Training alone wasn't benefitting my dog as much as it should've, and Dr. Kraus was able to diagnose my pup as well as provide medication that could help my dog along with a training plan. My pup is getting along with her sister much better and able to relax better at home thanks to Dr. Kraus.
My experience with Dr. Krause and Angie at Great Lakes Veterinary Behavior Consults has been nothing short of exceptional. My dog, Rocky, struggles with fearful reactivity towards people.
