Everyone is family here...from the staff to the the residents we all feel like we are sisters and brothers mothers father's daughters and sons...I couldn't have asked to work at a better place than here!
My mother lived there until March when she passed away. My father and I cannot say enough good things about GFAL. Mom was difficult, but all of her caretakers were really good with her. We feel she received excellent care and that she was treated with dignity and respect. A huge thank you to all of her kind, loving care takers. My father and I struggled initially with taking her out of her house, but we know we did the right thing.
What a wonderful Community. We moved my mom here this past week. The entire staff are such warm, caring individuals. As difficult as the transition was for our family, seemed it was as smooth for mom. She has already bonded with many staff members and other residents. I had to return to Massachusetts and although it will be very difficult to no longer have her living next door to me; I have complete confidence that she will be loved and well cared for.
