Beautifully made knives that also look fantastic. I wish I could collect them all. I own only one but it won't be my last.

For years I carried a SOG and sometimes a Case Trapper. Now that I have begun collecting Great Eastern Cutlery products I realize how well they are made; a fair superior knife. I carry a Northfield everyday, along with a small fixed blade and a small gentlemens knife with scissors. Kudos for the excellent products

I just received two (2) GEC knives yesterday - a new #38 Grinling Whittler and a used #77 Yankee Barlow. Very satisfied with both. The craftsmanship is readily apparent when looking at the details - fit and finish - no blade rub on the #38, centered blades, smooth walk and talk, PPP blade (Pattern Production Premier), smooth transitions between covers and bolsters.

GEC is in a league of their own when it comes to production slip joints. Be careful though they are addicting! My favorites are the 66 and 76 patterns but there are many more great ones as well! Keep up the great work!

At first I was hesitant about them I thought these knives were all hype then I got some and now I can't picture myself without GEC knife everything they make is gold. Tidioute, Northfield, Northwoods you can't go wrong with any of those names!!!
