I was looking for someone who knew how to do a proper blowout. The first person was the worst I’ve ever had in my life; she pulled my hair so hard I got a headache. When she finished, it looked terrible, my hair felt heavy because she used way too much product, and she didn't even pre-dry it properly. She was pulling with excessive force, and when I saw the result near the end, I hated it even more. My cut and stylist were amazing but somehow I keep having very unpleasant interactions with Michelle, even though she’s never touched my hair. The attitude, snide remarks and lack of professionalism from Michelle definitely made me feel as though I’m not welcome in this salon. (Before great clips responds with the generic message I’ve seen on other negative reviews, I’ve already reached out to corporate in which they said they’d pass along the message to the franchise owner)

I just heard the sad news that John passed away. John had been cutting my hair at Great Clips for a long time and he was one of the best. He always did a great job and we had good conversations over the years. He would keep me updated on the weather, what was going on around town and whatever else was happening. John was a good guy and a great barber. I am going to miss talking with him and I know GreatClips will miss him too. It was a pleasure knowing him and being his client. Rest In Peace John.
